Pete Seeger - Artwork for Art Exhibition

The Seeger Project 

The following artwork is the product of an extensive art exhibition focusing on the work of American songwriter and icon Pete Seeger. Students from grades 2nd through 12th were asked to listen and respond to one of his songs. The art exhibition was held at Mill Street Loft, Poughkeepsie, NY. 
A song was written for the event entitled: "Green and Growing" and was sung by a children's chorus and Mr. Seeger.

Special acknowledgment is given to art educator, Aliza Driller for her guidance, dedication, and participation in this project. The work of her students from Highland High School, NY represented outstanding artistry in response to the 
songs of Mr. Pete Seeger.
