The Peter Max Project - Have a Dream

Students from eight regional school districts were invited to participate in an art exhibit celebrating the artwork of renown American Artist - Peter Max. A total of 130 students participated. The culmination was an art exhibit hosted by Mill Street Loft at the annual Friends of the Arts Award where Peter Max was honored. A song entitled: Have a Dream was written and performed by musician Ann Teed and then later recorded on the John Lennon Song Bus. The song was also celebrated as part of a ABC television special focusing on the music of Paul McCartney
and his Back in the US Tour 2002.

Special acknowledgement is given to art educator, Aliza Driller Colangelo for her guidance, dedication and participation in this project. The work of her students from Highland High School, NY represented outstanding artistry in response to the art of Peter Max.
